1. About us
Ages Ago is a trading name of Highfold Group Ltd (company number 17521208, registered in England and Wales). Registered office: Office 21848, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA. When you use Ages Ago (agesago.co.uk) or buy from us, your contract is with Highfold Group Ltd. Contact us at hello@agesago.co.uk.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payments are taken securely by Stripe. If we make an obvious pricing error we'll tell you before going ahead.
What we do
Ages Ago mends photographs you send us. An AI image model repairs physical damage (tears, creases, cracks, scratches, dust, stains, spots and fading) and, if you choose, adds colour. No person retouches your photo, and we don't take requests to change what's in it (for example to add or remove someone, or to change an expression): every version is made from our fixed instructions.
Your photos
- Ages Ago is for your personal use. Before you keep a photo you confirm it is your or your family's photo, or that you have permission to copy it.
- You keep every right in your photos. You give us permission to use them only to mend them, compare the faces, make your files and print what you order. We don't use them to train any AI model and we never use them in our marketing.
- We can't mend photos with nudity, including baby photos in the bath. Ages Ago isn't for passports, ID or official documents. We may decline any photo we consider unlawful or harmful.
Faces and colour
We compare every face in the mended version with your original. If a face changes, we keep your original face, cleaned, with only colour added. We can't put back a face that has been torn away or is missing from the print. Colour is our best guess at how the photo looked on the day, not a record of it.
Previews, keeping a photo and credits
- The preview is free. Keeping a photo costs £5.99, or one credit. Packs: 3 credits £12.99, 5 credits £17.99, 15 credits £34.99.
- Credits from a pack last 12 months from the day you buy it; any still unused after that expire. We email you a month before. Unused credits from a pack can be refunded from your account within 14 days of buying it.
- The photo you keep is exactly the preview you saw, without the watermark. Its full-size file is 3840 pixels on the long side, enlarged from our restoration for printing.
- We keep your files for 90 days after you keep a photo, so please download them. We email you 10 days before they're deleted.
- Free previews are limited each day so the service stays fair; we may pause them for a while.
Prints and frames
- We print the A4 fine-art print and the framed print, 30 x 40 cm through our print partner, Prodigi, and deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery is included in every print price.
- Prints are made from your own photo. For 2 hours after you pay you can change the version or frame colour, fix the address or cancel the print on your order page; then it goes to print by itself.
- A4 prints usually arrive in 3 to 7 working days and framed prints in 4 to 7, after the change window. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when we've received full payment.

Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited.
Complaints
If something's gone wrong, email hello@agesago.co.uk and we'll aim to resolve it within 14 days.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
