Most families have a biscuit tin, a shoebox or an album of photos nobody has looked at properly for years: creased, spotted, faded, and some of them the only picture of someone. Ages Ago is a quick, careful way to mend them.

Who we are

Ages Ago is run by a small UK team as part of Highfold Group, which owns and runs a handful of online businesses. Ages Ago is a trading name of Highfold Group Ltd (company number 17521208, registered in England and Wales). Registered office: Office 21848, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA.

Why per photo

You might have one special photo, or a whole album. Either way you should only pay for the photos you want to keep, after you've seen them mended. So the preview is free, keeping a photo is £5.99, and packs of credits bring the price down for bigger piles.

Why there's no subscription

Photo apps often sell weekly plans that keep charging long after the last photo is done. We'd rather not. Nothing renews, and pack credits last a whole year, so you can work through the shoebox at your own pace.

Why the faces matter

A mended photo that doesn't quite look like Nan is worse than the creased original. So every face is compared with your original, and kept from it if anything changed. We're open that an AI image model does the mending, and that no person retouches photos.
